Lyin’ Away! Is a game about solving the tricks and lies that the game throws at you. It is meant to be a tough to win, intellectual game. The game already features aspects of trick areas, and soft locking. The game is a cave-diving platformer and is set primarily underground with a few boss fights on the surface. Players can expect to spend quite a lot of time on each level, as there are many fake pathways, and to be greatly annoyed and angry at the game’s mechanics and level progression.

In the year 2142, Earth faces a crisis of epic proportions. Abbel, a powerful corporation, inadvertently alters the planet's gravitational balance with their experiments, leading to catastrophic consequences. As the Earth's magnetic field weakens and its core cools, chunks of the planet disintegrate, and it suffers relentless bombardment from celestial bodies. In this desolate, dystopian world, humanity is forced to retreat underground for survival.
